Countries Available in GA1-3
All member states of the United Nations not already assigned or listed above (including states with only “observer” status) are available for representation in General Assemblies 1, 2, and 3.
Non-Governmental Organizations
Doctors Without Borders, the Palestine Liberation Organization, and Amnesty International have already been assigned. All other NGOs that have a working relationship with the United Nations are available. Note that NGOs have the ability to speak in GA1-3 and ECOSOC, but cannot vote on resolutions, amendments, or certain motions. Delegates representing NGOs have the ability to “roam”, meaning they can sit in on several different committees during the course of the conference. Schools are not required to fill all possible eight seats when representing an NGO. We strongly encourage schools to represent NGOs.
